(2) 月球和隕石 In the study of lunar and meteoritic samples, fluid inclusions have helped us reconstruct various extraterrestrial (and possibly early terrestrial) processes. (3) 寶石學(xué) In gemology, fluid inclusions might be considered as purely negative features, because they are often the imperfections that make the difference between a valuable gemstone and an inexpensive mineral specimen, but they have proven to be valuable dele:ts, in exploration for gem deposits, in Gem identification, in recognition of the original source, and in distinguishing natural from synthetic stones. (4) 沉積學(xué) In stratigraphy and sedimentation, fluid inclusions have been used as of helpful fingerprints to identify the nature of the provenance detrital grains in sandstone, quartzite, and conglomerate. (5) 火成巖 、 變質(zhì)巖巖石學(xué) In plex igneous and metamorphic terranes, fluid inclusions have sometimes clarified the petrogenesis and tectonics, and the pressure and temperature changes during uplift and erosion。 and (2) the mistaken belief that widespread or unversal leakage of fluid inclusions is a proven fact. It is generally agreed that, in nature, some fluid inclusions have leaked, particularly in certain special metamorphic environments, but that such leakage is negligible in many other environments.
