The entire text of the Laws has been examined and revised in order to consolidate and reanise the contents and make them more uniform, clearer and easier to understand. The most significant changes consist of the inclusion of some of the decisions in the 20xx edition, either in the Laws themselves or in the section entitled ―Interpretation of the Futsal Laws of the Game and Guidelines for Referees‖. The aim of the FIFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee in amending the title of this section was to highlight the fact that although its main purpose is to plement the Futsal Laws of the Game, its contents are unquestionably mandatory in nature. Furthermore, some principles that were previously implicit in the game but were not explicitly mentioned in the Laws have been included in this new edition.
