【正文】 2)turn在這兒的意思是“把……變成”，是及物動詞： They have turned the famous beauty spot to/into an ugly place. 他們把那的風景勝地變成了一個丑陋的地方?！ ?2)Swiss aeroplane是指瑞士生產的飛機?！ ∵^去分詞ploughed和deserted都位于它們所修飾的名詞之前?！ ?2)從句 that it can land anywhere在句子中起表語作用，是表語從句，that為引導詞，it代指this wonderful plane?！ ≡诒菊n中，fly為及物動詞，意思為“空運(乘客)”： He has flown his car to France. 他已將他的汽車空運到法國?！ ?like sitting by the Wayle on fine afternoons. 我喜歡在天氣晴朗的下午到河邊坐坐?！ orning，evening與它的用法一致。(請注意在the afternoon of May22之前要用介詞on) 3.…it went towards a passing boat.……球便向著一只劃過來的小船飛去?！ ary called out to her father, but he was too far away and couldn’t hear her. 瑪麗對著她的父親高喊，但他離得太遠了，聽不到她的喊叫?！ ∵@個結構也可以用于so +副詞+that從句結構： He ran so quickly that no one could catch up with him. 他跑得非?？?，沒人能趕上他。 (2) in sight表示“看得見”、“在視野之內”，反義詞為 out of sight： No bus is in sight. 看不見任何公共汽車。
