【正文】 ou have an Internet connection in your home, school, or library, within seconds you can be transported anywhere in the world and meet people on every continent.―一個公民外交的新時代‖一一我想不出比這更好的說法了,因為這正是我正在談的,那就是普通公民走向世界。這確實是技術的力量——它打開整個世界,讓我們接觸到以前根本難以想象的思想和創(chuàng)新。And believe me, I know how this can be a messy and frustrating husband and I are on the receiving end of plenty of questioning and criticism from our media and our fellow it’s not always easy, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the time and again, we have seen that countries are stronger and more prosperous when the voices of and opinions of all their citizens can be ,我知道這是一個令人困惑而沮喪的過程。And as my husband has said, we respect the uniqueness of other cultures and societies, but when it es to expressing yourself freely and worshipping as you choose and having open access to information, we believe those universal rightsthey are universal rights that are the birthright of every person on this believe that all people deserve the opportunity to fulfill their highest potential as I was able to do in the United ,我們尊重其他文化和社會的獨特性。所以我保證,通過出國留學,你們不僅在改變自己的人生,也在改變你所遇到的每個人的人生。Every day, you show the world your countries’ energy and creativity and optimism and unwavering belief in the every day, you remind usand me in particularof just how much we can achieve if we reach across borders, and learn to see ourselves in each other, and confront our shared challenges with shared ,你們都在向世界展示你們國家的能量、創(chuàng)造力、樂觀,以及對未來堅定不移的信念。You all have so much to offer, and I cannot wait to see all that you achieve together in the years ,我熱切期待著你們未來的成就。s service and sacrifice...and we will always have your the past few years as First Lady, I have had the extraordinary privilege of traveling all across this everywhere I39。ve seen it in teachers in a nearbankrupt school district who vowed to keep teaching without see, even though back then Barack was a Senator and a presidential candidate...to me, he was still the guy who39。t have much in the way of money or material possessions but who had given us something far more valuable – their unconditional love, their unflinching sacrifice, and the chance to go places they had never imagined for father was a pump operator at the city water plant, and he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when my brother and I were even as a kid, I knew there were plenty of days when he was in pain...I knew there were plenty of mornings when it was a struggle for him to simply get out of every morning, I watched my father wake up with a smile, grab his walker, prop himself up against the bathroom sink, and slowly shave and button his when he returned home after a long day39。d been brought up just like was raised by a single mother who struggled to pay the bills, and by grandparents who stepped in when she needed 39。t asking for didn39。re supposed to do, then you should be able to build a decent life for yourself and an even better life for your kids and 39。t count unless you earn it fair and learned about gratitude and humility – that so many people had a hand in our success, from the teachers who inspired us to the janitors who kept our school clean...and we were taught to value everyone39。t change who you are – it reveals who you see, I39。s thinking about the pride that es from a hard day39。s how he brought our economy from the brink of collapse to creating jobs again – jobs you can raise a family on, good jobs right here in the United States of it es to the health of our families, Barack refused to listen to all those folks who told him to leave health reform for another day, another didn39。s what my husband stands it es to giving our kids the education they deserve, Barack knows that like me and like so many of you, he never could39。re Barack knows what it means when a family knows what it means to want something more for your kids and knows the American Dream because he39。s the same man who started his career by turning down high paying jobs and instead working in struggling neighborhoods where a steel plant had shut down, fighting to rebuild those munities and get folks back to work...because for Barack, success isn39。s the same man who, when our girls were first born, would anxiously check their cribs every few minutes to ensure they were still breathing, proudly showing them off to everyone we 39。t believe what these folks are going through, Michelle...it39。s what drives Barack Obama every single I didn39。s hard – especially when it39。s always ready to listen to good ideas...he39。t pass, and it seems like all is lost – Barack never lets himself get distracted by the chatter and the like his grandmother, he just keeps getting up and moving forward...with patience and wisdom, and courage and he reminds me that we are playing a long game here...and that change is hard, and change is slow, and it never happens all at eventually we get there, we always get there because of folks like my Dad...folks like Barack39。s uniform and sacrifice their lives for our most fundamental rights...then surely we can do our part as citizens of this great democracy to exercise those rights...surely, we can get to the polls and make our voices heard on Election farmers and blacksmiths could win independence from an empire...if immigrants could leave behind everything they knew for a better life on our shores...if women could be dragged to jail for seeking the vote...if a generation could defeat a depression, and define greatness for all time...if a young preacher could lift us to the mountaintop with his righteous dream...and if proud Americans can be who they are and boldly stand at the altar with who they love...then surely, surely we can give everyone in this country a fair chance at that great American in the end, more than anything else, that is the story of this country – the story of unwavering hope grounded in unyielding is what has made my story, and Barack39。之后,米歇爾在北京大學斯坦福中心以“讀萬卷書不如行萬里路”為開場進行了約20分鐘的演講。President Wang。Professor Oi, and the Stanford Cen
