C is number1. Continue with the other three pictures, pausing after each one. _T: Open your books. Look at Gogo. (point to Gogo) _T: Gogo is asking you a question. What is he saying? Walk around the classroom, eliciting responses, _T: Now, listen and answer the questions. _Play the tape and have Ss answer. _After listening and answering questions, encourage Ss to ask each other these three questions in pairs or small groups. _Point to the pictures of Gogo and Tony. Play the tape and point to each word and sentence as it is sung. Divide Ss into two groups. One group sings the questions and the other sings the responses in the first verse. Ask a volunteer to e up to the front ,follow the previous procedure and then ask you if you like the item on which she/he landed. T: everybody, get a button or a coin . ( pass buttons or coins around around to Ss.) Put Ss in pairs or small groups. Tell Ss that one person drops the button on the page and asks another student a question based on the picture where the button lands. Demonstrate . Circulate around the room and check how Ss are doing. Make sure Ss are asking and answering in plete sentences. Write the alphabet letter A on the board. T: what is this letter?[Ss: A] T: yes. Today’s sound is the same sound as the letter A . T: let’s listen to the tape. Play the tape and have Ss point to each word . T: let’s listen again ,and this time, repeat. Have Ss repeat after the tape. After enough practice, point to the picture randomly and have Ss say the word. T: (point to the baseball game.) Is this basketball ? [ Ss: No, it isn’t./Yes, it is.] T: let’s listen to the chant. Play the tape once. Play the tape again and have Ss point to the lyrics while listening to the chant. T: let’s chant together.
