【正文】 o always tell the truth because it depends. For example, if a patient is seriously ill and has got cancer, the best thing to do is not to tell him the truth. Instead, people can tell a white lie in order to give the patient more chances and confidence to recover. What’s more, in some cases, not telling the truth can work better than telling the truth. For instance, most children who get sick don’t like bitter medicine. So it is better to the sick children that the medicine is sweet so that they will take the medicine and get well again soon. But if you tell them the truth, they will not take the medicine easily. Therefore it is not a good idea for people to always tell the truth. Some people prefer to attend outdoor activities on vacation, such as hiking, swimming. Others prefer to do nonphysical activities. Which do you prefer and why? Recently, I met someone on a walking trail. During our walk we found out we are both signed up for golf lessons at the local club. I definitely agree that it is important to remember and learn from the past. To begin with, all human knowledge is some way based on something experienced in the past.
