【正文】 yes and study. Television Television presents a vivid world in front of us. By watching TV, people will not only get to know currents events both at home and abroad, but also enjoy seeing various world wonders. TV can also entertain us with exciting sports games, lovely wild animals and colorful foreign customs. It is through TV that we feel close to nature and human world. Television can also play an educational role in our daily life. Actually, TV provides people with almost all kinds of educational programs ranging from popular science to foreign language learning. Even housewives, farmers and selftaught students are able to learn what they need from different special programs. However, television can also be harmful. Quite a few parents plain that a number of TV programs about sex and violence have bad effects on their children. Moreover, people who watch TV too much can hardly work or study regularly and efficiently.
