【正文】 Can you predict what will happen in the future? for sure 確定地 【經(jīng)典例句】 I think he lives there but I couldn’t say that for sure. 我想他是住在那里的 ,但我不敢確定。 He looks like a teacher. 他看起來像個(gè)老師。 【考點(diǎn)聚焦】 1） look like 和 be like 都可以指人或事物的外部形象，但 be like 還可以指性質(zhì)、性格、特點(diǎn)等。 短語(yǔ) 如： What does she look like？ /What is she like？她的長(zhǎng)相如何？ What is the teacher like？那個(gè)老師如何？ 2） look as if“看起來像 …… ”，后接從句，如： It looks as if it is going to be a fine day. 看起來是個(gè)好天氣。 in the future 在將來 【經(jīng)典例句】 Who knows what will happen in the future？ 誰知道將來會(huì)發(fā)生什么事？ 【考點(diǎn)聚焦】 1） in future 在今后；從今以后，如： I will never make such foolish mistake in future. 以后我再也不犯這種愚蠢的錯(cuò)誤了。 【考點(diǎn)聚焦】 1)同義短語(yǔ)： without doubt 無疑地 2)其他與 sure 相關(guān)的用法： ① be sure of/about 對(duì) …… 有把握 如： Are you sure of your facts? 你能肯定你的資料屬實(shí)嗎 ? ② be sure to do ；肯定做某事 如： He is sure to e today. 今天 ,他肯定會(huì)來的。finish up 終結(jié)，結(jié)束 2)use up 短語(yǔ)中的 up 是副詞 ,賓語(yǔ)如果是代詞需置于 use 與 up 之間。 ② run out of 意思是 “用完；用盡 ”，是及物動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)，需要接賓語(yǔ)。 【考點(diǎn)聚焦】 1)同義短語(yǔ)： depend on 依賴 2） rely on 后可接賓語(yǔ)從句 ,常用 it 作形式賓語(yǔ) ,把賓語(yǔ)從句后置。 【活學(xué)活用】 You can’t rely on the weather. _________________________________________________ 答案： 這天氣可靠不住。如： He has placed an order for 100 copies of the book with that bookshop. 他已經(jīng)與那家書店預(yù)訂了一百本這種書。 (狀語(yǔ)從句 ,no matter who 可以換成 whoever) We will punish whoever breaks the law. 我們將懲罰任何違法的人。 She had finally carried o
