In order to improve the extraction efficiency of flavonoids in Camptotheca acuminata leaves, studies of the paper used airdry Camptotheca acuminata leaves as raw material, ethanol as extraction agent. In this extraction process, the single factor experiment and response surface experimental design analysis method were applied to reflux extraction, to research reflux extraction conditions and their impact on the yield of flavonoids extraction results, and seek the optimal conditions. The single factor experiments first had five factors that may affect the yield of flavonoids extraction: solidliquid ratio, extraction times, ethanol concentration, extraction temperature and extraction time and the results had shown that the approximate relationship of the various factors and extraction rate, and three significant factors: solidliquid ratio, ethanol volume fraction, extraction temperature. Then the classic three factors and three levels BoxBenhnken experimental design was carried out to establish a quadratic regression model for the extraction efficiency of total flavonoids, and analysis of the experimental data was processed by the DesignExpert software.
