The Golden Samples must attach the label Board Assembly Manufacturing Golden Sample (AT0801E105F11) signed by PE. Golden Sample that reservation from NPI phase can be kept using in MP phase. If failures that the Golden Sample has to be rebuilt, PD should provide the sample product for TE(TD). TE(TD) follows the rules below to fabricate the Golden Sample based on the product specification provided by PE. If some issues due to a product will end of life (EOL), TE convene relevant units(PD,PE,BD) to discuss the solution. . If all the test items of the product are logic criteria items which do not included the value measurement (Ex: MOB, POS…etc), TE chooses the present product with the last revision, install all the necessary peripherals and proceed the GRamp。R report has to be attached with the Golden Sample label.. If one (included) or more test items of the product has the criterion which is judged by the measured value:. The test item(s) can be measured by the equipment without the fixture: TE chooses the present product with the last revision, installs all the necessary peripherals based on the requirement of product specification and measures the value with qualified equipment(s) which is(are) within the calibration warranty (meter, scope, analyzer…etc). If the values of all test items meet the product spec, the sample can be considered as a Golden Sample. And the measured values have to be written in the table (AT0801E105F11) to be the checking point.. The test item(s) shall be measured with the fixture: Test fixtures are fabricated (in DVT or MVT phase) by using the Golden Sample verified by designer and provided by PE. So, the actual measured value (A) with the fixture minus the value (B) defined in the product spec is considered as the offset value (C=AB) caused by fixture. In the MP phase, TE chooses the present product with the last revision, installs all the necessary peripherals based on the requirement of product specification and measures the values (A’) with the fixture. The measured value (A’) minus the offset value (C) is B’ (B’=A’C).
