【正文】 新概念英語(yǔ)第2冊(cè)Lesson55~57重點(diǎn)語(yǔ)法及句型 新概念英語(yǔ)第2冊(cè)Lesson55重點(diǎn)語(yǔ)法及句型 重要句型或語(yǔ)法 過(guò)去習(xí)慣的表達(dá) 本課側(cè)重對(duì)比used to do和would do兩種表達(dá)過(guò)去習(xí)慣的用法區(qū)別。如： I used to live near my work and would always get home early. 課文主要語(yǔ)言點(diǎn) Dreams of finding lost treasure almost came true recently. 1)dreams of doing sth.，夢(mèng)想做某事。 2)lost treasure，失蹤的寶藏。 3)注意區(qū)分almost(更多用來(lái)表程度)和nearly(更多用來(lái)修飾數(shù)字)，但兩者經(jīng)常可以互用。 4)e true，成為現(xiàn)實(shí)、實(shí)現(xiàn)?！ new machine called ‘The Revealer’ has been invented and it has been used to detect gold which has been buried in the ground. 1)called ‘The Revealer’ 用作machine的定語(yǔ)，中間省略了which/that was。 2)invent，發(fā)明。其動(dòng)作的名詞為invention，表人的名詞為inventor(發(fā)明家)。 3)be used to do sth.，被用來(lái)做某事。 4)detect，探測(cè)。 5)bury，埋藏。 The machine was used in a cave near the seashore where it is said pirates used to hide gold. 1)注意對(duì)比句中的was used in a cave(表被動(dòng))和used to hide(表過(guò)去習(xí)慣)的區(qū)別。 2)破折號(hào)中的it is said作為插入語(yǔ)，強(qiáng)調(diào)整句話只是據(jù)說(shuō)如何如何，不一定是事實(shí)。 3)pirate，海盜。 4)hide，隱藏。注意其過(guò)去式和過(guò)去分詞分別為hid和hidden?！ he pirates would often bury gold in the cave and then fail to collect it. 1)句中的would do就是表達(dá)過(guò)去習(xí)慣的。 2)fail to do，沒(méi)有做成某事。 3)collect，收集、收藏。 Armed with the new machine, a search party went into the cave hoping to find buried treasure. 1)be armed with，裝備著。用作伴隨狀語(yǔ)。 2)the search party，搜尋隊(duì)。party在這里表示一伙人。 3)hoping to find buried treasure，是現(xiàn)在分詞短語(yǔ)，用作目的狀語(yǔ)?？梢愿臑閍nd hoped to find buried treasure?！ he leader of the party was examining the soil near the entrance to the cave when the machine showed that there was gold under the ground. 1)leader，領(lǐng)隊(duì)、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。 2
