The fashion of the online examination is the inevitable trend of the education development. The web based online examination system is one of the most important application of the Inter. The research in this field has very important theoretical and practical significance . This research is the task of vocational and technical grounds Nanjing Chemical Industry Institute of the National contractors Chemical Maintenance fitter skills and the first race of the chemical industry equipment and technology skills petition test platform for the development of online, and the developing means and relative technique of the online examination system based on B/S model will be specified in this thesis. The article is about using B/S modelstructure as key structure of developing program, these system uses the technology, which is very popular in market, in developing program and uses SQL Server in backstage database. With abovementioned technology, we design and e true a Computer Web TestSystem. Uses take Classical Test Theory(CTT)as the instruction, the union Item Response Theory(IRT)the design mentality carries on the item bank design. Regard them as principle to analysis the quality contro l with two aspects, validness and choosing the type of exercises. Through using technology to deal with and delivery the data, we have built this system which has foundations in grouping the paper, checking the paper, querying and analyzing the mark by the machine, besides these. The system has over the disadvantage of traditional test ,making the puter managing all test process ,ing true paperfree test ,improving the test management, has a bright future.
