私人信件(personal letter)和事務(wù)性信件(business letter)。私人信件寫給親朋好友,其余的歸類于后者。 信件按寫作的目的,分為抱怨信,批評信,建議信,祝賀信,說明解釋信,感謝信,道歉信,推薦信,求職信,聯(lián)絡(luò)信等等,大多數(shù)格式相似。 1稱呼(Salutation)(一般不考)稱呼是指寫信人對收信人的稱呼用語。位置在信內(nèi)地址下方一、二行的地方。從該行的頂格寫起,在稱呼后面一般用逗號(英國式),也可以用冒號(美國式)。(1) 寫給親人,親戚和關(guān)系密切的朋友時(shí),用Dear 或My dear 再加上表示親戚關(guān)系的稱呼或直呼其名(這里指名字,不是姓氏)。例如:My dear father, Dear Tom 等。(2) 在公務(wù)信函上用Dear Madam,Dear Sir 或Gentleman(Gentlemen)。注意:Dear純屬公務(wù)上往來的客氣形式。Gentlemen 總是以復(fù)數(shù)形式出現(xiàn),前不加Dear。而Dear Sir 或 Dear Madam 表示單數(shù)形式。當(dāng)不辨收信人性別時(shí),可寫成Dear Sir or Madam。(3) 寫給熟悉人的信,也可用頭銜、職位、職稱、學(xué)位等再加姓氏或姓氏和名字。例如:Dear Prof. Dear Dr. John Smith 或Dear Visa Officer。(The Main Body)(必考項(xiàng))位置在下面稱呼語隔一行,是信的核心部分。要求正文層次分明,簡單易懂。和中文信不同的是,正文中一般不用Hello?。愫茫。┱挠锌s進(jìn)式和齊頭式兩種。每段書信第一行的第一個(gè)字母稍微向右縮進(jìn)些,通常以五個(gè)字母為宜,每段第二行從左邊頂格寫起這就是縮進(jìn)式。但美國人寫信各段落往往不用縮進(jìn)式,用齊頭式,即每一行從頂格寫起。每段用一行隔開。商務(wù)信件大都采用齊頭式的寫法。3.結(jié)束語(Complimentary Close)( 必考項(xiàng))在正文下面的一,二行處,從信的中間偏右開始,第一個(gè)詞開頭要大寫,句末用逗號。如果是齊頭式,則結(jié)束語也是左面頂格寫。不同的對象,結(jié)束語的寫法也不同。(1) 寫給家人,親戚,用Your loving grandfather, Loving yours 等。(2) 寫給熟人,朋友,用Yours cordially, Yours affectionately等;(3) 業(yè)務(wù)信函中用Truly yours(Yours truly), Faithfully yours(Yours faithfully)等;(4) 上級、長輩用Yours obediently(Obediently yours), Yours respectfully(Respectfully yours)等。(signature)低于結(jié)束語一行至二行,從信紙中間偏右的地方開始(如果是齊頭式,則結(jié)束語也從左面頂格寫),在結(jié)束語的正下方,在簽完名字的下面還要用打字機(jī)打出自己的名字,以辨識別。職務(wù)、職稱可打在名字的下面。當(dāng)然,寫給親朋好友的信,就不必再打了。在雅思考試中只需要你手寫上名字即可。如題目中說明不寫名字,則不必寫上考生姓名。 一 抱怨信(plaint)抱怨信在生活當(dāng)中會經(jīng)常遇見,中國人講究中庸之道,萬事只要過得去就行。而西方人對服務(wù)行業(yè)甚為苛刻和挑剔。甚至是只要他們花了錢的,或是政府本應(yīng)該做的,他們就要批評。這樣一來也好,加強(qiáng)了社會監(jiān)督。不過還是要請大家注意,抱怨不等于罵人,不等于素質(zhì)低。君子動口不動手,批評人不帶臟字,批評完了還得讓你照辦。抱怨信的最高境界就是過失方看完了信,接受了批評,改正了錯誤,心中充滿了懊悔,還得念叨著寫信人的寬宏大量。 抱怨信在考試中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn),大多是房客對房子的不滿,住戶對鄰居的不滿,消費(fèi)者對商品的不滿或是對某服務(wù)質(zhì)量、服務(wù)態(tài)度不滿,居民對政府的某項(xiàng)措施不滿??忌鷳?yīng)該注意抱怨信結(jié)構(gòu)的設(shè)置,以期達(dá)到最合理的結(jié)果。思路第一段:寫信的目的。表明信中所要批評、抱怨的問題。第二段:抱怨的正文。(1) 介紹背景。發(fā)生的時(shí)間,地點(diǎn),人物,原因。(2) 出現(xiàn)的問題,問題的經(jīng)過和引起的后果、抱怨的原因。(3) 給自己帶來的不便和麻煩。第三段:提出批評及處理意見、解決方案,并祝愿(打一巴掌,給個(gè)甜棗)。抱怨產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量You have bought an mp3 at a shop.
