In addition, with modern technology and rapid development of modern production technologies emerging, such as Concurrent Engineering (CE), Agile Manufacturing (AM), Lean Production (LP), The Production Time (JIT) and so on, to the modern enterprise equipment set higher requirements. This paper introduces the domestic and foreign advanced equipment management theory and our equipment management status, and in the 20th century after the 1990s are emerging in the new maintenance theory, as a state maintenance and utilization of the center for the maintenance, quality restoration prehensive plan, adaptive maintenance, reliability, maintenance, reliable as a center maintenance and management, the maintenance costs. The paper also pointed out that as advanced enterprise management theory and puter technology to the rapid development of puterbased equipment management technology more secure and more efficient. Papers systematically introduced enterprise resource planning ERP software SAP R/3(System Applications, and Data Processing Production, data processing systems, software applications and products。 R/3 version), with a focus on SAP R/3 of the plant maintenance module for detailed PM, PM module with the other modules also analyzed. This paper studies the SAP system in the OPPLE lighting pany to implement China’s technology and methods, analysis of the SAP system on the pany’s equipment maintenance management implications, SAP system enables production plans and equipment maintenance and management more flexible, the number of equipment failures and downtime time statistics more accurate, for equipment to provide adequate basis, so the cost of more reliable control, and spare parts management more convenient and so on.
