d all kinds of traditional methods are pared in this paper, and then the paper refers to the realistic possibility of the UASB,SBR process used in the system of pharmaceutical wastewater. The UASB,SBR process used to treat pharmaceutical wastewater has advantages such as stable treatment result, easy management, strong adaptability, low investigating, small coverings, high quality of effluent and high removal of nitrogen and phosphorus. The whole process including UASB,SBR are designed in detail in the foundation of the quality and quantity of the pharmaceutical wastewater and for each building referred in the process, it gives detailed design, for each machine and equipment, it provides type choosing properly.
