presents a streetlamp controller based on Siemens S7200 series programmable controller (PLC). The system with S7200 as the core realizes the automatic work of the streetlamp controller. What is more, the system can automatically choose three work moodslight control, wetlands control and the timely control by detecting the environment through the photoelectric sensor and humidity sensor, and then achieve the intelligent control of the street lamp. The design of the sensor using the photoelectric sensor and humidity sensor, with functional and high accuracy, fast response, small size, very lowpower, low price. It can examine whether the light is strong or not through the photoelectric sensor and accordingly adjust the time of lighting street lamps. The humidity sensors can change the time of street light by detecting the environmental humidity, and change the voltage size. The control system of the street lamp based on PLC is of high credibility, strong operability, continuous expansion, obviously efficient energy conservation and low costs and maintenance expenditure. It is easy to change the control system by changing programs to apply to different regions with time difference and bees the development trend of street lamp design.
