【正文】 Abstract Along with the rapid development of microelectronics and munication technology,the specialization and miniaturization of puter system has be a new systems technology as the key of this trend,its product has infiltrated into the industrial control and the social life at all levels,and plays a more important role in the information evolution. ARM processor is famous for its less cost ,low power and good performance in numerous embedded is well know for his open sources,stabilization,customization,mobility,multitudious hardware supported and powerfull work it made popularity that using ARM+Linux solution in embedded system designing. This thesis intends to build an embedded hardware and software developing platform based on ARM9 processor and Linux,and offers the solution which can extend some functional modules easily to the user. It was divided into hardware platform and software system in this of all,we describes the embedded print terminal design concept (including the working principle,design and choise),then we summarized the devising of hardware and software also introduction SAMSUNG’s S3C2410 SoC,the ARM9 core 32bit RISC processor,and focused on the circuit connecting design,the printer deriver and the main application development in Linux baded on this platform. The core codes were also analyzed at each step. At the end of this paper,we summed up our work and suggested some improvement.
