【正文】 考點 一 “What... for？ ”句型 【課文原句】 “And what is a book for， ” thought Alice, “without pictures or conversations？ ”愛麗絲心想： “連插 圖和對話都沒有，這書還有什么意思呢？ ” (八上 P58) “What...for？ ”表示 “有什么用；為什么 ”，可縮寫為 “What for？ ”。 —Daming, may I borrow your radio? 大明，我可以借一下你的收音機嗎？ —What for？ /What do you borrow it for？ 干什么？ 考點 二 “too... to...”結構 【課文原句】 It was too dark for her to see anything. 里面太暗了，她什么也看不見。 too是副詞，后接形容詞或副詞的原級， to后接動詞 原形。 (2)too... to...結構常與以下結構相互轉換： 【 注意 】 當 too... to...前有否定詞 never時，表示肯定 含義。s never too late to learn. 活到老，學到老。 1．她太小了還不能照顧自己。 (八上 P58) (1)while是連詞，意為 “當 ?? 的時候 ”。 The mother was washing while her son was playing with a toy car. 母親在洗衣服，她的兒子在玩一輛玩具汽車。 He is strong while his brother is weak. 他長得很結實，而他弟弟卻很瘦弱。 (3)when與 while的用法區(qū)別 兩者都表示 “當 ?? 時 ”， when既指時間點，也可指一段 時間； while只指一段時間。 When the teacher came in, we were talking.＝ While we were talking, the teacher came ，老師走了進來。 2． The TV news talked about a car accident near
