hemselves for the motherland. I am here to say to those heroes and martyrs, “you are so brave and strong. In order to safeguard the dignity of the motherland, you sacrificed your precious life, and in order to protect the lives of the Chinese people, some of you lost your loved ones. Without you, there would be no prosperity of the motherland, and new China would not be established.” Although I didn’t go to the Tomb Sweeping Day, I checked a lot of information about heroes on the Internet. I looked at those touching stories, tears blurred my eyes. Today’s motherland is bought by soldiers with their own lives. We must cherish our present life and repay our motherland when we grow up. We should start bit by bit. Now we should study hard. Be as strong as those soldiers. You can’t shrink back when you encounter a little difficulty in life. What are our difficulties pared with those encountered by the soldiers? The annual Qingming Festival is ing again, another day to remember the martyrs. Martyrs, when the Chinese nation is in danger, you built the Great Wall with your own blood. They are the pride of China. In memorating the martyrs, we should never forget what they have done for the people and their will and pursuit. Your brilliant achievements will be deeply engraved in the historical records! We admire you, selfless heroes! It is precisely because of you countless revolutionary martyrs, your lofty and selfless that we have today’s peaceful environment and the prosperity of our motherland. Students, let’s inherit the legacy of the martyrs, study hard for the construction of our hometown and the prosperity of our motherland, and create a better tomorrow! On Tomb Sweeping Day, we came to Zhoupu martyrs cemetery with excitement. We saw countless green pines standing on the lawn. Everything was so serious that we couldn’t help but respect. Then we went to the martyrs’ Mausoleum and saw rows and rows of pines beside the martyrs’ Mausoleum, which were rustled by the spring wind. It seemed to tell you that the spirit of the martyrs was like this lush green pine. There are white and yellow chrysanthemums in front of each martyr’s mausoleum, which is the memory of future generations. Then, we came to the martyrs’ hall, where there were rows of insc riptions engraved with the names of these martyrs, with their photos on them. Next to the photos, the stories of each martyr were recorded. We saw many great deeds, including those who died to protect the territory of the motherland and those who died to protect the lives of their patriots. In order to protect the motherland and the happy life of future generations, the martyrs do not hesitate to sacrifice their precious lives. How great they are! Thank you, brave martyrs!
