Mr. Carol Bellamy (from the United States), Executive Director of the Fund, visited China many times. The Fund provided million of assistance to China between 1990 and 1998 and carried out 150 projects. China39。s problems in the developing countries such as malnutrition, illness and education, and its business scope has expanded to children39。s support for public advocacy on key children39。s next generation, but I am honored to be the first of them. UNICEF was the first United Nations agency to appoint celebrity Ambassadors to help call the public39。s Fund (UNICEF)
