【正文】 43 Communication Equipment The digit microwave equipment shall be provided for the munication transmission equipment of long distance oil transmission pipeline. Comparison will be made and remendation furnished of VHF versus UHF for munication with patrol personnel. block valve control and where necessary local microwave system drops. Power Supply and Electric Design Contractor is to determine if Sufficient and reliable electric power is available at site. Contractor shall be aware of wide span voltage variation of the mercial gild. The main power supply shall be obtained by the contractor from the mercial gild. The power feeder shall run from the mercial gild to the power distribution board(PDB). The battery system capacity shall be sized from min. 8 hours of backup power. The UPS system shall be sized according to load. UPS .Input power to the UPS shall be fed from the motor control center or PDB. Motor winding insulation shall be type required by IEC. Motor shall be furnished with space heater. The facility design shall maximize the use of metal clad(MC)cables。Select equipment required for implementing the central control center and the control room for each pump station to enable the performance of said functions. Design the automatic control system which will supervise and control operation of the entire pipeline system, the work will include design of hardware and software for central control center and for each pump station. Analyse advantages and disadvantages of each of these codes and their general applicability for use in the automatic control system. Determine necessary parameter and alarm which are to be monitored by central control center for the entire pipeline. Determine control and monitoring requirement of each pump station and corresponding control configuration and remend if conventional control equipment is necessary for back up and standby operation. Determine control flow diagram for pump station and provide control diagram and its mimic in the central control center. Determine method of providing mimic display, Or all alternate method of showing overall pipeline operation in the central control center .Select proper modes of operation of automatic control system through the microware system based On the requirements of the automatic control system. Determine scanning period, and the basis for the scanning period, if a scanning mode of operation is to be utilized by the automatic control system. Determine operational and alarm parameters to be supervised by automatic control system at each pump station.
