Since the implementation of the onechild policy, more and more children tend to depend on their parents, even after they grow up. As far as I know, some young teachers in the school I am studying at would go to their parents’ for meals. I am not saying that they are not financially independent, which the picture might further indicate, but that they are, to some extent, dependent on their parents, which makes sense with the picture in some way. The problem is here to stay for mainly two reasons—one is that the policy is not tended to be loosened and the other is that the kids are watching and imitating.Unquestionably a change is needed. It should take place in the way we educate our kids rather than in the policy. Parents should first set a good example and then let the kid do their own things. Only in this way can the whole society be betteroff.
