Click the plus sign next to the Resource Type to display existing resources of that type.d. Select the resource you would like to modify. The Attributes View tab in the right pane of the window shows the list of attributes associated with the selectedresource.e. From the attributes view tab, click ‘...’ in the Edit column of the attribute to beedited. This opens the Edit Attribute window.f. Enable the resources, and bring the service group online. Modifying the Agent ConfigurationYou may dynamically configure the VCS enterprise agent for Oracle using the mandline interface, Cluster Manager, or Configuration Editor. For details, see the VERITAS Cluster Server User’s Guide.Disabling the AgentTo disable the agent, you must first switch the state of the Oracle service group to
OFFLINE.This stops the application pletely, or switches the agent to another system.1. To remove a system from the service group’s SystemList attribute, check if the servicegroup is online:C:\| hagrp state service_group sys system_name2. If the service group is online, take it OFFLINE by entering one of the followingmands:C:\| hagrp switch service_group to system_nameor:C:\| hagrp offline service_group sys system_name3. Stop the agent by entering:C:\| haagent stop agentWhen you get the message Please look for messages in the log file, check the fileVCS_HOME\log\ for a message confirming the agent has stopped.You can now remove the system, service group, or resource type from theVCS configuration.
