【正文】 of upper and lower porte cocheres must be provided with pitman and locking arm, in which the diameter of pitman shall be 1—2mm less than . of standing pole. Operation layer of scaffold shall be continuously paved with hanging buckled board adaptable to porte cochere, and shall have baffle fastened to prevent scaffold board from falling and being loose. Horizontal bracket shall be set up in accordance with the following stipulations:1. Must be provided on upper part of top porte cochere, on the setup layer of wall connector and at the place where safeguard shelter is set up。2. Shall be provided for at least every two paces along the height of scaffold when erection height of scaffold H is 163。 45m。 shall be provided for every pace when the erection height of scaffold H is 45m。 shall be provided for every pace within one span at corners, ends and disjunctions of scaffold。3. Shall be continuously installed on its setup layer。4. Shall be set up above or below the porte cochere with removal of x brace when the x brace at inner side of scaffold is removed temporarily and partially due to the needs of construction。5. May be replaced by the hanging buckled scaffold board or the horizontal reinforcing rod set up at both sides of porte cochere. Bottom of standing pole of bottom porte cochere shall be provided with fixed pedestal or adjustable pedestal. Fasteners Bridging shall be set up according to the following regulations:1. Shall be set up continuously at outer side of scaffold when the height of scaffold exceeds 20m。2. Obliquity of its sway rod to the ground should be 45o—60o, and its width should be 4—8m。3. Shall be fastened together with standing pole of porte cochere by adoption of fastener。4. If its sway rod is extended by overlapping, the overlapped length should not be less than 600mm and the overlapping joint shall be tightened by two fasteners. Horizontal reinforcing rod shall be set up in accordance with the following regulations:1. Shall be set up for every 4 paces at outer side of scaffold and should be set up on leveling layer having wall connector when the height of scaffold exceeds 20m。2. Longitudinal horizontal reinforcing rod shall be set up continuously, forming a horizontal close circle。3. Bottom of bottompace porte cochere of scaffold shall be provided with seal bar。 inner side and outer side of porte cochere shall be provided with alllength ground pole。4. Shall be tightened together with standing pole of porte cochere by adoption of fastener. Connection of Porte Cochere at Corners A horizontal tie bar shall be provided each pace at inner side and outer side of scaffold at corner of building, for integrating two porte cochere at corner into one entity (figure )Figure Connection of Scaffold at Corners1— adapting steel tube。 2—porte cochere。 3—wall connector Horizontal tie bar shall adopt steel tube, with same specification as that of horizontal reinforcing rod. Horizontal tie bar shall be tightened together with the standing pole and horizontal reinforcing rod of porte cochere by adoption of fastener. Wall Connector Scaffold must be connected reliably by wall connector to building. Setup of wall connector shall meet the requirement in Table in addition to calculation requirements in Articles — of this code. Wall connector shall be capable to bear tensile and pression, with standard bearing capacity of not less than 10kN。 connections of wall connector with porte cochere and with building shall also have the respective strength. Pathway Mouth Pathway mouth should not be higher than 2 porte cocheres, and wider than the span of one porte cochere. Pathway mouth shall be reinforced according to the following requirement: when width of mouth is one span, horizontal reinforcing rod shall be provided inside and outside above the mouth of scaffold, and diagonal brace shall be provided at two upper corners of the mouth (figure )。 when width of the mouth is two or more span, it is required to install a specially designed and fabricated bracket above the mouth and to strengthen the standing pole of porte cochere at two sides of mouth.Figure Schematic Diagram for Reinforcement of Pathway Mouth1— horizontal reinforcing rod。 2—diagonal brace Inclined Ladder Inclined ladder for operators to go board and get off scaffold shall use hanging buckled steel ladder and should be in shape of “ 之”, with one stair horse striding over two or three steps. Steel ladder shall have its specification matching with porte cochere, and shall be fastened firmly with porte cochere. Steel ladder shall be provided with handrail. Groundsill and Foundation Site for erection of scaffold must be flattened and solid, and ready for water drainage. Backfilled ground must be backfilled and tamped layer by layer.
