第一次和數(shù)學(xué)建模親密接觸是在05年的暑假,我有幸參加了學(xué)校組織的數(shù)學(xué)建模培訓(xùn)。經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的數(shù)學(xué)老師們通過(guò)實(shí)實(shí)在在的例子告訴我們什么是數(shù)學(xué)建模。給我印象最深的是一個(gè)關(guān)于SARS的例子:2003年,SARS爆發(fā)并在世界范圍內(nèi)傳播,嚴(yán)重影響到我國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和人民生活,定量的研究SARS的傳播規(guī)律并建立數(shù)學(xué)模型預(yù)測(cè)和控制傳染病蔓延成為數(shù)學(xué)工作者必須解決的問(wèn)題……于是Logistic回歸便成為我永恒的記憶。為期2周的數(shù)學(xué)建模培訓(xùn),給我留下的不僅是一個(gè)個(gè)經(jīng)典的數(shù)學(xué)模型,更重要的是一份澎湃的激情和一份冷靜的思考:數(shù)學(xué)和數(shù)學(xué)建模是人類的守護(hù)神,因?yàn)橛辛怂拇嬖冢祟惖纳婧桶l(fā)展才有條不紊的繼續(xù)著。那么當(dāng)SARS病毒肆無(wú)忌憚時(shí),當(dāng)AIDS病毒肆意侵蝕人們?nèi)怏w時(shí),一個(gè)熱愛數(shù)學(xué)、熱愛數(shù)學(xué)建模,更加熱愛生命的人能夠做些什么?
懷著這份激情和思考,在大二的秋天,我第一次嘗試了運(yùn)用數(shù)學(xué)建模的知識(shí)去解決實(shí)際問(wèn)題,我和另外兩名隊(duì)員代表學(xué)校參加了全國(guó)大學(xué)生數(shù)學(xué)建模比賽。比賽要求結(jié)合數(shù)據(jù)對(duì)長(zhǎng)江水質(zhì)做出定量評(píng)價(jià),分析各地區(qū)的水質(zhì)污染。并對(duì)未來(lái)長(zhǎng)江水質(zhì)污染發(fā)展趨勢(shì)做出預(yù)測(cè)分析,制定污水處理計(jì)劃。長(zhǎng)達(dá)17頁(yè)的數(shù)據(jù)和多個(gè)評(píng)價(jià)指標(biāo)對(duì)我們來(lái)說(shuō)著實(shí)是個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)!究竟應(yīng)該選擇哪些數(shù)據(jù)?怎樣綜合考慮多個(gè)指標(biāo)?我們嘗試了近一天,推翻了以前建立的種種模型,有好幾次都被弄得想要放棄,是隊(duì)友間的相互鼓勵(lì)的力量和鍥而不舍的精神讓我們最終找到了自己滿意的模型:綜合指數(shù)法模型評(píng)價(jià)長(zhǎng)江水質(zhì),既體現(xiàn)水質(zhì)的各種評(píng)價(jià)因子,又能反映主要污染物對(duì)水質(zhì)的突出作用。通過(guò)多元線性回歸擬合預(yù)測(cè)未來(lái)水質(zhì)污染,建立線性優(yōu)化模型,制定污水處理計(jì)劃。我們小組的參賽論文獲北京市二等獎(jiǎng)。三天三夜的建模經(jīng)歷,那份澎湃的激情已經(jīng)漸漸平息,取而代之的是更加冷靜的思考:數(shù)學(xué)建模創(chuàng)造、創(chuàng)新,成功地解決問(wèn)題依賴于扎實(shí)的數(shù)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)和過(guò)硬的數(shù)學(xué)建模能力。依賴于不拘一格的創(chuàng)新思維和創(chuàng)造能力。還依賴于對(duì)多方面知識(shí)的了解和積累。
參加數(shù)學(xué)建模比賽的經(jīng)歷更加激發(fā)起我的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使我在學(xué)習(xí)數(shù)學(xué)理論的同時(shí)更加注重它們的應(yīng)用性。除此之外,我抓住一切可能的機(jī)會(huì)再次參加實(shí)際的數(shù)學(xué)建模。大三的上學(xué)期,我有幸參加了為期3天的電工數(shù)學(xué)建模實(shí)習(xí):給某大型運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)比賽項(xiàng)目排序。由于對(duì)圖論知識(shí)很熟悉,我很快將問(wèn)題轉(zhuǎn)化為尋找最佳Hamilton回路。接近87億種不同的’排序的數(shù)據(jù)量,比上次的全國(guó)數(shù)模競(jìng)賽更大,我的算法運(yùn)行時(shí)間相當(dāng)長(zhǎng)而且運(yùn)行的結(jié)果也很不理想。這種情況的發(fā)生不僅僅沒(méi)有打消我的積極性,反而使我的情緒高漲,這是人生中難得的自我考驗(yàn),自我提高的機(jī)會(huì)!通過(guò)查詢資料改用遺傳算法,一個(gè)數(shù)學(xué)模型是否能夠完美地解決實(shí)際問(wèn)題還要考慮其運(yùn)算成本,實(shí)際問(wèn)題不僅需要一個(gè)成功的模型還需要一個(gè)快速有效的算法。
電工數(shù)模實(shí)習(xí)結(jié)束后,濃厚的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和電工數(shù)學(xué)實(shí)習(xí)的教訓(xùn)促使我和數(shù)學(xué)系、計(jì)算機(jī)系幾名同學(xué)共同籌劃并創(chuàng)建“數(shù)學(xué)建模沙龍”,將計(jì)算機(jī)算法和數(shù)學(xué)模型共同作為沙龍的主題。每周二下午,我們會(huì)組織有興趣的同學(xué)一起,以傳授經(jīng)驗(yàn)、分享心得、共同思考、共同討論的方法學(xué)習(xí)和交流數(shù)學(xué)思想和算法。傳統(tǒng)的運(yùn)輸問(wèn)題、儲(chǔ)存問(wèn)題和新興的模擬退火算法、螞蟻算法都曾成為我們的討論話題。通過(guò)這個(gè)活動(dòng)我從數(shù)學(xué)系和計(jì)算機(jī)系的同學(xué)身上分享了更多的知識(shí),他們的思維方式,處理問(wèn)題的方法!到目前為止這個(gè)活動(dòng)仍然在進(jìn)行著,我為此感到非常的興奮!
在老師的推薦下,大三暑假,我參加了邢永麗老師的教學(xué)改革項(xiàng)目——“提高數(shù)學(xué)課堂教學(xué)質(zhì)量”的結(jié)果分析。0405年,邢老師在她和其他幾個(gè)數(shù)學(xué)老師的任課班級(jí)上做了課堂互動(dòng)的教學(xué)實(shí)踐,其數(shù)據(jù)大多以調(diào)查問(wèn)卷等文字形式出現(xiàn)。此模型的特點(diǎn)讓我馬上聯(lián)想到模糊數(shù)學(xué)定量分析模型,但敢于嘗試新模型的念頭讓我最后選擇了AHP層次分析法。通過(guò)量化數(shù)據(jù),應(yīng)用AHP層次分析法定量分析老師的綜合素質(zhì)、授課技巧等因素在師生互動(dòng)、提高數(shù)學(xué)課堂教學(xué)質(zhì)量中所起的作用,得出教師的授課技巧和課堂問(wèn)題設(shè)置在課堂互動(dòng)中所占分量最重的結(jié)論,并和邢老師合作完成《層次分析法在課堂互動(dòng)教學(xué)效果評(píng)價(jià)中的應(yīng)用》論文,邢老師和我對(duì)論文都非常滿意,已向多個(gè)期刊投稿并有望發(fā)表。
和數(shù)學(xué)建模一樣,金融工程的靈魂是創(chuàng)新思維和創(chuàng)造能力,而數(shù)學(xué)和數(shù)學(xué)建模知識(shí)在金融工程的應(yīng)用更讓我對(duì)這門學(xué)科充滿了興趣。更s重要的是,金融工程技術(shù)能給人們的生活、社會(huì)的穩(wěn)定、國(guó)家的發(fā)展做出重要貢獻(xiàn),我想這個(gè)也更加符合我學(xué)習(xí)數(shù)學(xué)建模的初衷。

英文版:I thought much before I began to write the PS. However, holding the pen, I suddenly felt wordless because I have too much to say, too much to write. Standing on the crossroad of life, I determined to study abroad without any hesitations.
It was not the desire for the life overseas, but the pursuit of my professional study that aroused my idea to study abroad. I was longing for the further study and embedded understanding of the essence of Information Science, tasting its charm. Pocketing this interest, I came into the department of Beijing Forestry University. Through several years’ study there, I gradually realized that the modern information society needed not only the professional talents in information science, but also the embedded researches in this field in order to use it into every enterprise. Meanwhile, it is certain that the information science is just the developing trend in the future, which could historically change the ever familiar life style. Therefore, in the process of learning, I can taste its interest and challenge, with which I can keep abreast with the latest technology. Furthermore, I think it was valuable for me to contribute my youth into the Information Science, the most prospective enterprise in the future.
My ordinary score on my school report will tell you that I am not good at examinations. Those socalled “examination skills” are also strange to me. Instead, I emphasize the practical operations and the real needs of the society, expecting to learn the knowledge and technology that stands at the top of the period. Therefore, I got the latest knowledge mainly by reading large amount of English books and browsing the websites. Besides, I participated in many practical activities, in which I could use what I have learnt into practice.
In my sophomore year, just as other schoolmates were submerging themselves into the fairy world of PC games, I began my part time working experience by working as a technician on the website of a small pany. Just at that exciting time, I found that it was very difficult to use the theories I learnt on class into the practical work. Trapped in the gap between the school and society, I collected and summarized much practical professional files from a series of websites and learnt the HTML language and the CSS design by myself. From the first attempt in the society, I realized that I got much from difficulties rather than smooth work. On designing the information part of the website, I could not find the perfect bination between the files. However, as a hardnosed boy, I was not defeated by the difficulties, but very excited towards them. By classifying and summarizing the files I found on the websites, I finally solved the problem.
Taking advantage of my insistent efforts, I was finally kissed by an opportunity to participate in a developing project, in which I worked as a core assistant of my teacher to develop the Iptables module under Linux. From a theoretical point of view, the development of the module could be included in the basic theories of the operating system.
