【文章內(nèi)容簡介】 uch. . . that/so that/too. . . to結(jié)構(gòu) (1)such. . . that意為 “ 如此 ?? 以至于 ?? ”引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句 , such后常接名詞 。 例如 : He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him. 他是個非常聰明的男孩 , 大家都非常喜歡他 。 (2)so that意為 “ 以便 , 為了 ” 引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句 。 例如 : Tom ran slowly so that his sister can catch up with him. 湯姆慢慢地跑以便他的妹妹可以趕上他 。 (3)當(dāng) so. . . that結(jié)構(gòu)中的 that從句是否定句時 , ?？赊D(zhuǎn)換為too. . . to結(jié)構(gòu)的簡單句。 too. . . to“太 ?? 而不能” , to后跟動詞原形。 例如 : The boy was so nervous that he couldn’t say a word. =The boy was too nervous to say a word. 那個男孩緊張得一句話也說不出來。 【 活學(xué)活用 】 ① 這個游戲是如此有趣 , 以至于我都不想停下來 。 The game is I don’t want to stop playing it. ② The box is so heavy that I can’t move it.
