On the one hand, the hunger games are the product of domination. They are bloody and cruel as readers can see, much more frustrating and miserable for residents in the districts. The reason why the games can be created is because of the unbalanced power: “As our yearly reminder that the Dark Days must never be repeated, it gave us the Hunger Games” (19). The Capitol is much stronger, and it makes the games of deaths a TV show. Mere entertainment as they are for the Capitol, they are nightmare for the districts. Domination causes miseries—23 are killed in violence
