【文章內容簡介】 行的動作，常用時間狀語為 then, at that time, at this time last night / year, when引導的時間狀語從句等，且過去進行時還常出現(xiàn)在 while引導的時間狀語從句中。 一般過去時與過去進行時的區(qū)別： 過去進行時強調動作的 進行過程 ，而一般過去時強調動作的 完成 。如： I was reading a French novel last night. (不強調讀完 ) I read a French novel last night. (強調讀完 ) 過去進行時強調動作在過去某時間正在進行，而一般過去時則表示動作在過去某事件發(fā)生。如： My father was watching TV at seven yesterday. My father watched TV last night. 過去進行時強調動作的 連續(xù)性 ，不可與確定的頻度狀語連用。一般過去時強調動作的 反復性 ，可與確定的頻度狀語連用。如： The little girl was crying all afternoon yesterday. The little girl cried five times yesterday. 注意： 當敘述過去發(fā)生的事，尤其是過程中發(fā)生的一系列動作時都用一般過去時。如： The boy opened the door, entered the room, took off his shoes, sat on the sofa and started to watch TV. was watching won was writing sent was practising took found was reading were playing was talking called was not Simon and his friends are talking about what they did after dinner last night.
