It is my honour to invite the professors present to Gaoyou River, eating native food and enjoying beautiful scenery. Sometimes I felt that there is a potential link between the China University of Mining and Technology and me. I used to work in Yancheng Normal University. It is my former colleague and best friend who graduated from this university introduced me this chance to take part in the postgraduate entrance examination and apply for a MPA degree. I valued this as a best approach to improve my knowledge and skills, that’s why I work hard to pass the exam. My wife got her MA degree in 2020.(two thousand and eleven), and now she works as an English teacher.. I felt motivated by her experience that her postgraduate education helps a lot in her work, And I have an idea that I need the more knowledge and skills to better serve the public. No wonder being a Master of Public Administration became my first choice. I could make my work more worthwhile through this.
The central objective of our government is enabling people live better lives, which can only be achieved by constructing a serviceoriented government. I believe the reason why a civil servant is called so is that it is our duty to serve the society. This is a real practice rather than empty words. My idea of being a MPA is not impulsive, since I realized that only by bining the necessary theory in public administration with my everyday work can effectiveness and excellent performance in work be achieved. Obviously, what I knew about this subject is skindeep. However, I believe that through my diligence, I can make my own contributions to the China Dream.

I am so glad to take this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Zhang San, 35 years old, born in Tianjing. In 1996, I entered Northeastern University in Shenyang for my undergraduate period. My major is Electronic Information Technology. After graduating in 2000, I passed the national civil service examinations and became a civil servant of Tianjing Customs. I’ve worked there for almost 13 years. In 2020, through the exam of petition for posts, I was appointed as deputy section chief of the technical department. 5 years later, I was promoted to the section head. I am very interested in management research，and seven papers were published, among which there are many papers obtained awards from the customs society.
There are several reasons for my decision to learn MPA in University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). Firstly, I have been deeply attracted by the academic atmosphere here. As far as I know, UIBE has sent a large number of qualified and specialized management talents to our customs system. Secondly, with the enhancement of management positions, I feel the lack of management knowledge, so I want to get a deeper understanding of public administration. I believe UIBE can provide me with enough opportunities to develop management vision and improve the management level. I am willing to use new knowledge to do m
ore things for my career and my country. Furthermore, I have little time to learn professional knowledge outside my busy work, so I am very eager that I can study fulltime.
In a word, I want to be trained more vigorously in public administration. If luckily I get the opportunity to learn MPA in UIBE, I would do my best on the study and research in my graduate time.
