【正文】 raters are located looks like the saddle ,so the place is named Maanling .Because of the ruins of volcanic eruption the soil in this area is very rich .There are varieties of fruit growing here ,such as litchi,longan ,and carambola .This area is one of the wellknown fruit villages .When the fruit is ripe in April and May ,the visitors can enjoy the fresh and tasty fruit . So far a series of inactive volcanoes have been discovered ,the Maanling Volcanic Crater is the only one that has been built into a park .Outside of the bus you can see the volcanic stones ,some are used as the building material and some are lying around .if you watch them carefully you can find some differences between the mon rocks and the volcanic ones .Main differences lies in two :one is color and the other is the face .The volcanic rocks black and have the honeyblike face .They are distinctive . Standing at the top of the hill and looking northeastward ,you can see the Qiongzhou strait ,and outline of haikou city .it is the ideal place to enjoy the wonderful view of this modern and beautiful city .Apart from the nature reserve and the cultural attraction,this place is also famous for its dietary culture with the traditional dish ,the shishan mutton .The most popular restaurant is Liwanjiuxiang Garden Restaurant .
