Operating costs and expenses increased by %, EBITDA increased by % and ine increased by % pared to first quarter 2023.Looking at the first half of 2023, revenues decreased by % yearoveryear. Operating costs and expenses increased by % as pared to last year. Our EBITDA decreased by % and our ine decreased by % yearoveryear. Our effective tax rates were % and % for the first half of 2023 and 2023, respectively. The higher effective tax rate for the first half of 2023 was primarily due to a decrease in realized deferred ine tax assets as well as investment tax credits. RevenuesTotal revenues for the second quarter of 2023 were NT$ billion, representing a % increase over the first quarter. Of our revenues, approximately % were from fixed line, % from wireless and % from Inter and data. Looking at individual segments, mobile revenue increased by % over the first quarter. Inter and Data revenues increased by % in the second quarter. Of these, Inter revenues increased by %, driven by continued growth in our ADSL business. In fixed line, local and DLD revenues increased by % and % respectively in Q2 due to more business days pared with Q1. ILD revenues increased by % in the second quarter, mainly due to an increase in ILD traffic and growth in international calling cards and wholesale businesses. For the first half of 2023, total revenues decreased by % yearoveryear to NT$ billion. Of the individual segments, Inter and Data increased by % while mobile revenues increased by %. Local decreased by % mainly due to the decrease in dialup minutes and mobile substitution. DLD decreased by % mainly due to mobile substitution. ILD revenue decreased by % due to the decline in average usage fee resulting from severe petition. However, the increase of the wholesale revenue partially offset the decline of the retail revenue.
