been killed. Or maybe I would be too scared to give any help. I might simply close the window and put my ear plugs in. These are the different things I might do on such an occasion, but I believe it’s most likely that I would call the police.Part Four Writing and Translation2 Translation PracticeLean on Me依 靠 我 吧Sometimes in our lives we all have pain, we all have sorrow生活中我們會(huì)有痛苦,會(huì)有悲傷But if we are wise, we know that there’s always tomorrow. I just might have a problem that you’ll understand也許我有個(gè)問(wèn)題正好你明白We all need somebody to lean on. Please swallow your pride if I have faith you need to borrow假如我的誠(chéng)信你需要,請(qǐng)收起你的驕傲For no one can ill those of your needs that you won’t let show. someone who does not interfere in my private affairs。 someone who does not snore while sleeping。 Unit 1 Personal RelationshipInClass Reading The Gift of Life以生命相贈(zèng) 1 炸彈落在了這個(gè)小村莊里。 a responsible and honest person。 an independent person。Lean on me when you’re not strong當(dāng)你脆弱時(shí),來(lái)依靠我吧And I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on我會(huì)成為你的朋友,會(huì)助你繼續(xù)向前For it won’t be long, till I’m going to need因?yàn)椴粫?huì)很久,我也會(huì)需要Somebody to lean on. 3 WritingSampleWhen we need help, we should not hesitate to ask for it. There are two reasons for us to do so. First, sometimes in our lives we all may have pain and sorrow, so we all need somebody to lean on. For example, when we are angry, we need someone who is willing to listen to our plaints and to fort us. Sometimes it is very likely that the one whom you have asked for help may need your help some day in the future. By helping each other, we bee friends. The other reason is that no one can help us if we are too proud to let others know what we want. So next time if we have trouble, if we need somebody to lean on, don’t hesitate to ask for help. Likewise, when one day someone else needs our help lend them a hand or let them lean on us.
