This paper proposes the concrete design, in view of the cooling system of Mandrill. According to the requirements and the fundamental principle of cooling system, the paper chose the first as a selection of the design, by a detailed analysis and parison of working principle ,as well as advantages and disadvantages of the three proposals. Through consultancy to relevant materials, analysis and calculation the paper de termines the model of motors, reducers, shaft, coupling, keys, and other important parts,and checks up the important parts. On this basis, then design the structure of other nonstandard ponents, such as, rotating on the feeder, move steel and other imp ortant ponents etc. According to the above method, the task of cooling mandrel rotation can be plete well【 17】 .
