Being a language of mixed factors， news English has its unique features on various linguistic levels， especially the political news English, such as the lexical level， the grammatical level and the rhetorical level(Douglas 1988).With its unique characteristics， news English has developed into a branch of modem stylistics. Recently more and more attention has been directed to the study of news English. Actually， various news media have their own styles as a part of a general journalistic pattern : therefore， it is hard to fully understand the message of media English on various media without mastering basic conventions. Based on this Point，this thesis focuses on a systematic study of news English , especially on the political news English . just from the view of the poem premier wen used in the political news, therefore ,study the feature of the poem in the political news English. English news have their own special writing forms. That is , News English is different from other writing forms in that it has its own distinctive features. In order to increase their strength and attract the eyeball of readers in a fiercely petitive market with an increasing number of presses striving for the same goal. Especially much attention has been given to the word ， the person who report the news must make every effort to use fewer letters to convey more information because of limited time .Therefore， They always use many accurate and simple words. Long words are more difficult to understand than short ones. Brevity is to convey a great number of information within the space of a few words is one of the of the rules of news . This brevity principle can find its reasons, readers are always trying to find the useful news out of the large amount of information as quickly as possible. the syntactic feature of news English Traditional grammar focuses on the accordance and sequence of tenses. In news English, the use of tense is more flexible .There are various tenses are used to denote The freshness of the events， thus create a vivid news reporting . Using of simple present tense In political news English， writers prefer to use simple present tense because it is a tense of immediacy and is more vivid: besides， the simple present tense is more vivid than The past tense .It is widely used to describe something happening in the present or in the past.
