【正文】 l energy like coal, oil and natural gas is not only restricted ,but also causing serious air pollution .As a clean and renewable energy , the wind power has gotten a quick development and bee one of the most promising new energies. Therefore, the utilization of wind power development is regarded by many countries in the world. By taking directdrive permanent mag synchronous wind power system as an example, several ma ximum power point tracking control method of the current wind power generation system is discussed and pared in this paper, then one of the methods is simulated and verified. Based on the current status and foreground of wind power industrial home and abroad, the paper firstly describes the structure and position of wind turbines operating principle, and secondly analysis maximum power of the wind turbine control principles and methods, and then pares the optimum tip speed ratio control, the best power curve control, and mountain climbing search method. Then a model of permanent mag direct drive wind turbine is built in MATLAB/SIMULINK based on the mathematical model, include rotor model, permanent mag generator model and the control system model. And the simulation models are used to validating the method of the optimum tip speed ratio control below the rated wind speed.
