The Remote And Digital Video Monitor System is an integrated system relates to the munication control, puter control,work control, autocontrol,image pressing technique,monitor technic and positive technic and so thesis is based on the theory of puter transmission about video monitor, exerts the Winsock ,designs by means of the modules,discusses the longdistance and realtime video monitor system based on TCPIIP and MPEG4 about digital image pressing. This thesis introduces the whole project and each module on exploitation, for instance: transmission module,MPEG4 image serve module,database module, history track record module,sound talkback module and so on .This system is a remote surveillance system of transformer substation in power system.
