【正文】 接兩個(gè)主語時(shí)，其謂語動詞應(yīng)與最近的一個(gè)主語在人稱和數(shù)上保持一致，這就是我們通常說的就近原則。此句中neither...nor...連接兩個(gè)賓語。（…as well as he speaks English）Neither ...norneither...nor...表示既不……也不……。例如：He”s got a car as well as a motorbike. 他不但有一輛摩托車，而且有一輛小汽車。例如：George, as well as his brother, has gone abroad. 喬治和他兄弟一樣都出國了。例如：They have invited you as well as me. 他們邀請了我，也邀請了你。4. 由as well as 連接的復(fù)合主語并不影響謂語動詞的數(shù)。例如：As well as breaking his leg, he hurt his arm. 他不但摔斷了腿，而且還傷了胳膊。2. as well as 連接兩個(gè)謂語動詞時(shí)，它們的時(shí)態(tài)應(yīng)保持一致。As well asas well as 是英語中常用的連接詞，學(xué)生在使用時(shí)常常會出現(xiàn)錯(cuò)誤，本文將其用法作以下簡要?dú)w納和說明。例如： I thought those figures were correct. Later, however, he changed his mind. 他最初的反應(yīng)是不同意，可是后來他改變了主意。However1. however作副詞用時(shí)，表示“然而；但是”，可以位于句首、句中和句末；位于句首時(shí)，要用逗號與句子其它部分隔開；位于句中時(shí)，其前后都要用逗號；位于句末時(shí),其前用逗號分開。 2. however與but 兩者都做“但是，然而”講，而且都引出并列句。 3. however的其它用法： however可以作連詞(conj.)，表示“無論以何種方式，不管怎樣”，引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句。1. as well as 可連接并列的單詞或短語。例如：He publishes as well as prints his own books. 他的書是他自己印刷出版的。She sings as well as playing the piano. 她不但會彈鋼琴，而且會唱歌。例如：Helen as well as I is eager to see the performance. 海倫和我一樣急于要看演出。（you和me都作invited的賓語）They have invited you as well as I. 他們和我一樣都邀請了你。George hasn”t gone abroad as well as his brother. 喬治并沒有和他兄弟一樣出國去。（= He”s got not only a motorbike but also a car. ）8. 注意as well as 有時(shí)會引起歧義句。其含義是否定的，可連接任意兩個(gè)并列的成份。當(dāng)neither...nor...連接兩個(gè)主語時(shí)，也應(yīng)遵循就近原則。both...and表示兩者都……例：Both you and I are good students.你和我都是好學(xué)生。注意：動詞謂語就近原則。這時(shí)一般詞前要用分號，其后用不用逗號無所謂。如：Lucy and I go to school five days a week. 我和露西每周上五天學(xué)。如：I like eggs，meat，rice，bread and 、肉
