Video Monitoring System is an important part of the security system, it is a an integrated system which has a stronger ability to prevent from danger . Using embedded systems to realize remote video monitoring technology,which meet the requirements to digital work with the characteristics of public security, security, and other industries have important practical significance. Briefly introduces the concept of embedded systems, features and software, hardware platform, focuses on the USB camerabased video capture and storage, Some of the key technologies for a more detailed presentation. Introduced the ARM9 chip on the touch screen calibration algorithm ,by the acquisition of the image moving target detection for intrusion detection algorithm research and information systems functions such as work transmission realized.
