Students can pursue a career to do scientific research, teaching, technology development, designing and making, and even management and operation.二、基本規(guī)格要求Ⅱ．Skills Profile本專業(yè)主要學習材料科學與工程領域的基礎理論和應用技術，畢業(yè)生應獲得如下幾個方面的知識和能力：1. 具有較為扎 實的自然科學基礎， 較好的人文、 藝術和社會科學基 礎及素質；2. 系統(tǒng) 掌握材料科學與工程專業(yè)領域的堅實的基礎理論 和專業(yè)知識，主要包括力學、機械學、電工與電子技術、材料物理、材料化學、材料制備、材料加工等，掌握多種材料的生產(chǎn)制備工藝、成分、組織、 結構以及性能測試與控制方法；3. 具有材料科學與工程專業(yè)所需的制圖、計算、實驗、測試、文獻 檢索和基本工藝操作等基本技能；4. 熟悉本專業(yè)領 域各個方向的專業(yè)技術，了解學科的前沿及發(fā)展趨勢；5. 具有較好的外 語能力、自學能力、富有創(chuàng)新精神，具備較高綜合素質。As a student of this program, you will gain：1.
