This is the design of shell and tube heat exchanger, the medium is water and Sodium hydroxide solution. The design is in order to learn the structure of the shell and tube heat exchanger, and the design train of thought. First of all, according to the Medium characteristics to choose type heat exchanger. We choose the fixed tube plate heat exchanger about this design. We make structural design on the type.
