【正文】 No pains,no gains. 趙芹老師Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains知識點歸納：try是動詞，意為“試圖，設法” 動詞try還表示“試”、“嘗試”，“試用” 拓展：try搭配的詞組：try to do sth設法做某事；try on試穿；try out嘗試，實驗；try one’s best盡全力；have a try試一下。隨手練：1明天我將盡量早來。 2我們的老師總是嘗試一些新的想法。 instead意為“代替”“替代”，作副詞用instead 在順接句子中作“代替”講，而在轉折（或逆轉）句子中作“然而”講。 例如： isn39。t here. Ask Lucy instead. didn39。t answer me, instead, she asked me another question. instead of是介賓短語，其意與instead相同，不同之處在于它后面常接賓語，起賓語多由名詞、代詞、介詞、短語、動詞 + ing 形式充當。 例如：39。ll ask Li Mei instead of Mary. 39。ll go instead of 。 知識點歸納：Make的用法：be made from/of意為“由……（原料）制成”，后面一般接物質(zhì)名詞。知識拓展◎ be made up of表示某物或某組織由一種種成分或一個個成員組成?！?be made into意為“把……做成……”，主語在意義上為原材料，介詞賓語在意義上為制成品。◎be made in意思是“在……（地點）制造”，介詞in后接產(chǎn)地?！騜e made by意思是“由……制造”，介詞by后跟動作的執(zhí)行者。Keep的用法，keep doing sth. 意思是繼續(xù)不斷的做某事，一直做某事.The baby kept crying until his mother came back. keep其他用法 (1)．keep+adj. 意思是保持某種狀態(tài)You must keep quiet in the library. (2). keep+sb/sth +表地點的介詞短語。意思是讓某人一直在某地，you’d better keep the chicken in the fridge.(3). Keep sb,/ doing The policemen kept the children form crossing the road when it was dangerous.(4). Keep on doing ’t keep on shouting at me.Unless的用法：conj.除非，如果不 prep.除…之外，除非： 例句：Nothing will e of it, unless disaster.此事除了引起災禍以外不會有什么結果。短語:unless and until直到…才unless的用法例句Nothing will e of it, unless ，以文首的中文句子為例： She will keep on singing unless she is told to stop.。 以上句為例，如果想在主句表達肯定的語氣，就不能用unless，可以寫成： I will go to Beijing only if the pany pays for the trip. I will not go to Beijing unless the pany pays for the trip. （不能用will pay） 一、 引導時間狀語從句的從屬連詞(1) 表示“當…時候”或“每當”的時間連詞。主要的 when, while, as, whenever：He jumped up when the phone rang. (2) 表示“在…之前(或之后)”的時間連詞。主要的有before, after：Turn the lights offbefore you leave. (3) 表示“自從”或“直到”的時間連詞。主要的有since, until, till：(4) 表示“一…就”的時間連詞。主要的有as soon as, the moment, the minute, the second, the instant, immediately, directly, instantly, once, no sooner…than, hardly…when等：(5) 表示“上次”、“下次”、“每次”等的時間連詞。主要的有every time(每次)，each time(每次)，(the) next time(下次)，any time(隨時)，(the) last time(上次)，the first time(第一次)：Last time I saw him, he looked ill.
