The stress changes of buried pipelines parallelled with running tunnel are investigated using ground surface settlement control method during the tunnel face advance, and the influence factors of the stress change of buried pipelines, containing construction step, lining, anchor and grouting are analyzed. The results show that areas of the prepost excavation face where ground loss changes the biggest are the sensitive areas of pipe settlement changes, and the change of pipe settlement tends to be stable exceed that areas. The ideal model of mined tunnel is established to analyze the difference of ground surface settlement, which is beneficial to ensure security of shallow underground pipeline and judge the inflection point of settlement curve of pre and post excavation face, thus control advance speed of tunnel face effectively
