But is there anything that bines the two perfectly? Some there isthe advertisement. Nowadays, with the growing influence of mass media, advertising invades every aspect of our lives. Whenever we turn on the TV, look through a newspaper, open the mailbox, or surf on the Inter, advertisements would immediately jump into our sight. Advertisement has been called “the voice of business”, for it announces new products and describes new uses and improved features of familiar ones. It seeks to make people know the things they need and to lure them buy these things, and it tells what products or services are on the market, and how they can be obtained. As they make things so attractive, we often end up buying things that we do not really need. The advertisement plays a vital role in the spreadout and flow of goods. It puts up a bridge between factories or panies and shops, or stores and customers. Either side of them has no difficulty in finding cooperative partners.
