Untold numbers have looked for it in the possession of expensive cars, exotic vacation homes, and other popular “toys”. Unfortunately, I believe that happiness escapes many people because they 39 the process and journey of finding it. I have heard many people say that, “I’ll be happy when I get my new promotion.” Or “I’ll be happy when I lose that 40 20 pounds.” The list goes on and on. You probably have a few of your own you could 41 if you wanted. This thinking is 42 because it presupposes(預(yù)先假定 ) that happiness is a “response” to having, be ing or doing something.
