It partially supersedes BS :1989 (replacing method 4). EN 14836:2020 is one of a package of standards being produced by CEN/TC 217. On publication of the entire package, BS 7044 will be withdrawn. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee PRI/57, Surfaces for sports areas, which has the responsibility to: — aid enquirers to understand the text。 — present to the responsible international/European mittee any enquiries on the interpretation, or proposals for change, and keep UK interests informed。 — monitor related international and European developments and promulgate them in the UK.
