Finally, I would like to express my appreciation to all the writers whose works have been referred to in this thesis. ⅱ 摘 要 稱謂差異是中西方文化差異的一個重要表現(xiàn)。本研究通過從親屬稱謂、社會稱謂兩個方面對中西方文化差異作出對比研究，并簡要分析形成差異的原因有哪 些。通過分析研究，能夠 加深我們對中西方文化的了解，使我們在交流過程中更好的理解，從而減少跨文化交際中所產(chǎn)生的困惑和誤解，使跨文化交際順利進行。除此之外，這對于我們今后的翻譯學(xué)習(xí)有積極地促進作用。因為只有我們真正了解了中西方稱謂差異，更好的進行跨文化交際。 關(guān)鍵詞 ：稱謂差異；親屬稱謂；社交稱謂；文化差異 ⅲ ABSTRACT The difference of appellation is an important way that embodies the differences between Chinese and Western culture. This paper aims to analyze two methods of the translation of address terms in perspective of cultural differences: kinship terms and social appellation. And it aims to analyze the reasons that cause the differences between Chinese and Western addressing forms. All these are aimed to make people understand different cultures well and make us municate with foreigners better. Beside, it will also have an important role in our learning of translation. Because as long as we master the differences between Chinese and Western culture, we can better know the western literatures, then let the crosscultural munication run smoothly.
