【正文】 ______ I could not hand it in. so that Although so that but but 狀語從句 本單元涉及到的狀語從句類型： 結(jié)果狀語 從句 讓步狀語 從句 so… that… although /though 結(jié)果狀語從句 so…that… 結(jié)構的意思是“ 太 …… 以至于 …… ”。 so后面 接形容詞或副詞 ，表示程度， that后接從句表示這一程度造成的影響或結(jié)果。 We were so noisy that our nextdoor neighbour came to plain. 我們太吵了，以致隔壁鄰居前來抱怨。 I was so careless that I fot something important. 我真是粗心，以致忘記了重要的事情。 He speaks so fast that I can’t understand him. 他說話太快了，以致我沒理解他的意思。 such…that… 也可以引導結(jié)果狀語從句。與 so…that… 不同的是： such后面接名詞或名詞詞組 ，結(jié)構為： such+ (a/an)+形容詞 +名詞 +that… 。 It’s such an interesting film that we all want to see it. 這部電影很有趣，我們都想去看。 It is such nice weather that I’d like to take a walk. 天氣如此好，因此我想去散散步。 讓步狀語從句 由 although引導的讓步狀語從句表示“ 盡管 …… ，（但是） ……” 。一般情況下，可以 和 though引導的讓步狀語從句互換使用 ，但在 口語 中 though更為常用 。 I can look after myself, although/ though it won’t be easy for me. 我還是可以照顧自己的，雖然這對我來說并不容易。 Although/ Though Kevin is alone, he is very happy at first. 盡管凱文獨自一人（在家），但他剛開始還是挺高興的。 He went on fighting, though/ although he was wounded. 盡管受了傷，他還是繼續(xù)戰(zhàn)斗。 注意：漢語中“雖然 /盡管”與“但是”往往同 時使用，但在英語中 although/ though和 but是不能同時使用的 。 我不經(jīng)常做飯，但是我會做。 I don’t often make dinner, but I can cook.
