It is obvious that TV has greatly changed our lives, but, at the same time, it is not without shortings.As I have mentioned above, TV not only benefits but also affect our lives much. One of the benefits derive from TV is that it keeps one better informed about the current events, allows one to follow the latest developments in politics and science, and offers endless series of programs which are both instructive and stimulating. For example, the most distant countries, the strangest customs and the most attractive scenes of nature are brought right into one’s eyes. For another, we can learn many useful things through TV such as cooking. But, like anything else, it has its own problems. The main problem with TV has been its effect on young people. They are now so used to getting their information and education and entertainment from television that their literacy as well as physical ability have greatly been weakened. Of all the effects resulting from, nothing is as significant as that rubbish mercials and harmful programs lead to bad tastes and a distorted viewpoint towards human life, and even poison one’s mind, contributing to the rise in violence and crime in the street. A good case in point is that many young people bee criminals just because they learn too much bad from TV.Therefore I think whether the ultimate effect of TV is good or not, one thing is certain that TV in itself is neither good nor bad.
