rtment of Ningbo Institute of Technology Zhejiang University, Ningbo 315100;2 Department of Education of Zhuji Zhejiang )Abstract: A Gram positive bacteria strain that degrades formaldehyde was isolated from activated sludge of wastewater treatment plant from a chemical corporation.. The strain was observed through structure and physiological and biochemical characteristics. Molecule identification methods including distilled DNA, PCR amplification, Production Sequence showed that it was similar to Bacillus and 16SrDNA sequence shared 100% homology with that of Bacillus thuringiensis.
