As long as the correlated pensation mand is added to the program and the correlated data about the tool size is input into the page table “tool parameter set ” which is a machining center system, then when the program is executing the mand, the motion path of the tool center will automatically get corrected according to the given data to ensure that even if using the tools with different specifications , the workpiece with the same size precision can be machined. 1) Zero point offset. Socalled “zero point offset” means the offset value of the part program origin with respect to the machine origin on the X,Y and Zaxes coordinate after a part is mounted to the machine table. When programming parts, it is very important to choose a program origin correctly according to the marked base size on the part. After finishing programming the part and the workpiece will be mounted to an appropriate position of the worktable, the machine is first controlled to zero the X, Y and Zaxes, then the worktable is operated manually to coincide the position of the tool on the X, Y and Zaxes, and coordinate with the pragram origin position of the workpiece and record the three coordinate values.
